Maria Duca
Academician, and professor specializing in genetics and plant physiology. She is currently Director of the Doctoral School in Natural Sciences and Senior Researcher at the Center of Functional Genetics, Moldova State University. Author of over 400 scientific publications and holder of 9 patents, she has contributed significantly to plant genetics, biosafety, and molecular biology. Her research combines fundamental studies on the ASC-Rf system in sunflower, gene expression, and plant-pathogen interactions with applied biotechnology in GMO detection and biosecurity.
