Sîrbu Tatiana
PhD in biological sciences, has been working for 35 years at the “Al. Ciubotaru” National Botanical Garden (Institute), after graduating from the State University of Moldova, Faculty of Biology and Pedology, Botany Specialty. In 1996, she successfully defended her doctoral thesis. From 2006 until now, she holds the position of head of the Ornamental Plant Laboratory of the NBGI. The main directions in the activity: mobilization, researches the development rate, the ontogenetic cycle of numerous native and allogeneic species, conservation in ex situ conditions. The scientific results are displayed in over 100 scientific works, promoted at numerous scientific events, appreciated with gold, silver, bronze medals, diplomas of excellence. Leader or executor in 12 national and international projects.
